Senator Tom Bakk introduced legislation today that would increase public funding for ATVs. SF 3455 would direct .27 percent of the state's annually collected gasoline tax to a "dedicated account" for ATVs.
The public already pays over $15 million annually at the pump for ATVs, dirt-bike motorycles, four-wheel drive trucks, snowmobiles and motorboats.
